Testing
A very safe test of your heart and physical fitness
to detect abnormal body responses to gradually increasing
levels of exercise. When an echocardiogram is combined
with the treadmill, it provides additional information

A test of the arteries or veins in the legs and other
locations which provides information about blood flow
in these regions. |

Wave Alternans Stress Testing
A special type of treadmill utilizing state-of-the-art
specially-designed electrodes and computer programs
to detect signals which, if present, may indicate
a higher risk of sudden death from rhythem abnormalities.
We are very pleased to have this sophisticated technology
available in our county as it is only found in eighty
locations across the country. |
Pacemaker
and Implantalbe Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) Analysis
This state-of-the-art technology is evaluated in our
office and over the telephone utilizing representatives
from the various companies involoved. This provides
the highest level of accuracy and analysis available
in the industry. |
Ambulatory
and Event Monitors
A device that is carried at home or work which records
your heartbeat for subsequent review by the doctors
as an aid in detecting heart rhythm abnormalities. |
Echocardiography
With Doppler
An ultrasound test of the heart to detect abnormalities
of size and motion of the heart chambers and valves.
This test is harmless and requires approximately one
hour. |
Carotid
Ultrasound
A test used to detect abnormalities in the major arteries
supplying the brain. |
Heart
Catheterization
A valuable test performed in the hospital which measure
pressures in the various chambers of the heart and shows
abnormalities of the arteries supplying the heart which
maybe a cause of chest pain or heart attack. |
